The name Vinga
The light you steer for is the one that brings you home.
Vinga Fyr stands on a low, rocky islet off the Swedish west coast. Åsa grew up on the water, and Vinga was part of that childhood — the point you set your course by, and the light that meant you were nearly home.

Bringing sailors home
For generations of sailors, Vinga was more than a landmark. Weather turns. Darkness comes. A coastline that looked familiar by day becomes a run of uncertain lights. In those hours, a steady light does not chase you, command you, or pull you in — it simply holds its place, so you can find your own way back to harbor.
That is the spirit behind our name, and behind the way we practice. We do not take the wheel from you. We hold a steady point in your field of vision while you do the sailing.
Our work has a similar shape
Accomplished lives travel far — new cities, larger responsibilities, years of being the one everyone counts on. It is the kind of journey most people would call a success. And somewhere along the way, many capable people notice they have quietly drifted from themselves. Not because anything went wrong, but because life asked so much, for so long, that some parts of you stopped being visited.
Coming home, in our work, does not mean becoming less capable or less ambitious. It means recovering the whole of who you are: your own bearings, your own wants, the parts of you that achievement never required — and never replaced.
Therapy with us is intimate, continuous, and built around your actual life. Like any good light, our presence is constant: multiple sessions each week, direct support between sessions, and a clinician who knows the full map of where you have been.
You are not broken and you are not lost. You are at sea — and there is a light on.
When you are ready to come home to yourself, we are here.
